Government, Industry, Academic Leaders Speak at Inaugural Kentucky Industry Conference

MI2, GAME Change, and the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers were thrilled to have a wide range of speakers and panels at our recent Kentucky Industry Conference. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear Beshear closed the conference's first day with a discussion of the success and momentum of the manufacturing industry in Kentucky, the particular importance of the Kentucky metals industry, the impact of the Metals Innovation Initiative in its first two years, and what efforts like these have done for Kentucky's economic growth. We are grateful for Governor Beshear's support of the conference and our industry, and to MI2 board member Bob Eviston (of Nucor's River Metals Recycling) for helping lead the Q&A portion of the program. Find more details about the conference here.
