On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, manufacturers and industry champions from across the Commonwealth will gather in Frankfort for the annual KAM Manufacturers Day at the Capitol & Legislative Reception—an advocacy event convened by the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM) that brings Kentucky’s manufacturing community directly into the halls of state government.

This full-day event starts at 9:00 AM in Room 125 of the Kentucky State Capitol Annex and runs through the afternoon. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with members of both the Kentucky House and Senate, as well as senior Executive Branch officials, to discuss key issues impacting the manufacturing sector. From workforce development and economic policy to infrastructure priorities and regulatory challenges, these conversations are critical in shaping a business climate where Kentucky manufacturers can thrive.

MI2 is proud to serve as a partner with KAM for this year’s event, standing alongside manufacturers and industry leaders to elevate Kentucky’s manufacturing voice. As manufacturing continues to be a driving force in the state economy, advocacy days like this one ensure that our sector’s needs and perspectives are heard and considered in the policymaking process.

The day culminates with a legislative reception from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History, where attendees can network with lawmakers, industry peers, and policy influencers in a more informal setting. This reception is a highlight for many, blending relationship-building with dialogue about the future of manufacturing in Kentucky.

Registration is required, and while the event itself is free, advance signup ensures attendees secure their spot for both the advocacy sessions and evening reception. As MI2 continues to champion metals innovation across the state and beyond, we look forward to convening with our partners and peers in Frankfort to support growth, investment, and a thriving ecosystem for metals in Kentucky.
