MI2 Welcomes Newest Bronze Member Century Aluminum

We are thrilled to announce Century Aluminum as MI2's newest bronze member! Century Aluminum Company is a global leader in the production of bauxite, alumina, and primary aluminum, operating state-of-the-art facilities worldwide, including three aluminum smelters in the United States, two in Kentucky— Century Aluminum Hawesville, KY and Century Aluminum Sebree in Robards, Kentucky--and one in Mt. Holly, South Carolina—as well as one in Grundartangi, Iceland. Their extensive operations also include a bauxite mining and alumina refinery in Clarendon, Jamaica, and a carbon anode facility in Vlissingen, Netherlands.

Century Aluminum is committed to producing both standard grade and value-added primary aluminum products, including their low-carbon Natur-AlTM products from Iceland. With an annual primary aluminum production capacity of approximately 1,016,000 tonnes and a significant presence in the U.S. and Iceland, Century Aluminum's expertise and leadership will be welcomed as we work together on solving challenges and realizing opportunities for a resilient and innovative metals industry.
