The two executives, working in aluminum and in steel, talked about the opportunities and the challenges faced in the metals supply chain in the U.S. at the current moment and brought examples from their own companies' operations in Kentucky into the conversation.
These metals industry leaders were joined in the session by Dr. Michael W. Clark from the University of Kentucky, who has currently embarked on a study in partnership with MI2 tracking the economic impacts--both directly and indirectly--of Kentucky's metals industry on the economy of the region.
