MI2 is excited to unveil its MI2 Membership Opportunities 2-Pager, designed to support us as we scale our ability to execute on the mission to bring all our partners together to make Kentucky the preeminent destination for metals innovation. These changes are meant to help us diversify our membership by bringing on new types of companies who want to support and be involved in our mission and work and to streamline how our corporate partners can support us at the level most appropriate for their organization.

NEW - Four Membership Segments

Moving forward, MI2’s membership will be divided into four distinct segments, ensuring tailored benefits and opportunities for every type of stakeholder:

  • Metals Corporations: Large, global companies engaged in primary or secondary metals manufacturing.
  • Small/Medium Size Companies: Metals manufacturing-related companies with fewer than 500 employees globally.
  • Value Providers: Vendors and partner companies that supply services or solutions to metals manufacturers.
  • Downstream Manufacturers: Customers of metals manufacturers who utilize their products to create finished goods.

Three Membership Levels for Each Segment

Within each segment, MI2 offers three membership levels: General Members, Leadership Members, and Executive Members. Each level provides unique benefits designed to match the commitment and involvement desired by the member.

General Members

General Members gain access to a wealth of exclusive opportunities, including:

  • Invitations to “All Member” events.
  • One free admission to relevant MI2 events and discounts on additional registrations.
  • Priority and discounts for exhibiting at events.

  • Access to members-only reports and materials.

Leadership Members

Leadership Members enjoy all the benefits of General Members, with additional perks:

  • An additional free admission to MI2 events.
  • Priority consideration for speaking opportunities at events.
  • Invitations to exclusive roundtables.
  • Eligibility for board-level leadership roles.
  • Opportunities to lead initiatives within their segment and across MI2’s programs.
  • Access to draft materials relevant to their segment or areas of focus.

Executive Members

Executive Members represent the highest level of engagement and receive:

  • All benefits offered to General and Leadership Members.
  • Five free admissions to MI2 events.
  • Top priority for board-level and segment-level leadership roles.
  • Invitations to exclusive roundtables hosted or co-hosted by MI2.
  • First consideration for speaking engagements at MI2 events.
  • Access to draft materials for all MI2 projects, providing insight and influence across the organization’s work.
