On the Horizon

We have a lot of big projects lined up this summer, and we hope to have you involved! This month, consider taking a new step to get involved in what we are doing! For instance:

• If you're with a Kentucky metals company and don't believe your organization has done so, please fill out our questionnaire. This will help guide our collaboration with the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development on a Metals Industry Guide.
• If you have an idea for an innovation that could benefit Kentucky's metals industry, please include it in our MI2 Metals Innovation Search. The deadline to submit ideas is August 15th.
• If you are planning to join our inaugural MI2 Annual Conference, with a focus this year on "The Factory of the Future," at the Marriott East in Louisville on Sept. 5-6, be sure to pre-register.
• And check out our new grants section of our website to see if there are any opportunities for funding that you're interested in, and be in touch if so!
