The MI2 nationwide call for innovations will be coming to a close in less than three weeks. If you’re planning to submit something, be sure to get your application in by August 15th.

As a reminder, the Metals Innovation Search is a competition, seeking pioneering solutions that will usher in sustainable excellence for the metals industry, both in Kentucky and on a global scale. This competition invites visionaries to explore various focus areas, including environmental sustainability, end-of-life recycling, advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and other metal-related projects. Innovators from all corners of the nation are encouraged to participate, showcasing a diverse array of innovations, from early-stage concepts to fully-fledged, revenue-generating enterprises. Selected applicants will be given the opportunity to present their proposals to a panel during the inaugural MI2 Annual Conference on September 5th and 6th in Louisville, KY.
