Selected applicants will be given the opportunity to present their proposals to a panel during the inaugural MI2 Annual Conference on September 5th and 6th in Louisville, KY. The conference, focused on “The Factory of the Future,” promises to be a stage for innovators to showcase their ingenuity and forge potential collaborations with member companies and ecosystem partners affiliated with MI2.
The competition is open to individuals, research institutions, enterprising startups, and corporations alike. It also welcomes ideas from talent within Kentucky's metals companies, providing an avenue for internally developed concepts to transcend boundaries. The Metals Innovation Search offers a low-risk haven for front-line employees to present their innovation and ideas before leaders of the metals industry.
With this national call for innovations, MI2 works towards propelling the metals industry forward into a future defined by cutting-edge technologies, sustainable paradigms, and unprecedented growth. This initiative not only affords innovators the honor of showcasing their ideas but also promises to elevate the economic and technological landscape of Kentucky, positioning it as an influential player within the metals industry.
