MI2 Innovation Competition Update: Finalists Selection Begins from National Pool

The MI2 Innovation Competition 2024 has officially closed for applications. We are thrilled by the incredible national submissions we've received! This year’s competition, launched in partnership with Louisville-based innovation studio Render, sought pilot-ready innovations to address critical challenges in the metals industry. It is our second year running a national search for innovations for the metals industry.

Currently, members of our team are working with representatives from several MI2 member companies to select the finalists who will present their solutions to top industry executives at the upcoming 2024 Kentucky Industry Conference.

This event represents a unique opportunity for innovators to pitch their ideas to decision-makers representing over $34 billion in annual revenue, as part of a conference that is central to the future of the metals industry.

Summer Goldman, COO of MI2, shared her enthusiasm about the competition.
